Stop & smell the fragrances

It's not surprising to see these designer impostEr colognes in greenhills, divisoria or any other tiangges. But at the mall? It's a little too astounding and not quite what i expected. I was in the fragrances section in a really popular department store when i saw these horrible-smelling liquid impostors. I prefer cologne to perfume & i find it sayang to wear expensive designer fragrances, unless of course given to me, ( like the D & G light blue my bff gave me) but i still find it ridiculous to wear cheap, fake scents. It smells fine the instant you spray it then poof ! goes into the air & smells like alcohol or worse, works like a magic potion that attracts the wrong kind of people = )

P180/100ml as well as the fake clinique happy, hugo boss, cool water, etc.

Aside from D&G light blue, vanilla cologne & bodyshop olive, i like these better :

What a girl wants

I signed up & got approved by payperpost last night
& after some deliberation & good feedbacks by other
bloggers, i've decided to try it out. Despite having my
own little business and being employed, i still can use
extra earnings for my girly wishlist. I want to have another
vacation to bangkok & HK by September as well as a newer
digicam & another laptop that i have been eyeing. Lately,
I am also saving up for a downpayment for a unit in global city
which boyfriend and i are planning to purchase. The list could go
on so i need to work extra hard. I've always believed in playing
hard but working harder, at least until i get what i want. I like
writing & lately found blogging to be pretty fun so this is a great
way to earn extra while enjoying myself. No matter how busy i
am, i can still make time since i enjoy what i do, it's actually like a
form of creative release for me. I was delighted to have found
out that the opps at ppp were catered to the individual's
interests. So it should be easy. If i can earn and have fun in the
corporate world as well as in my little business, I sure can do that
with ppp as well. For me writing is second nature, like eating or shopping, but haven't gotten the chance until this. With payperpost, it's like hitting two birds, actually three, with one stone- blogging, earning & enjoying myself.

My not-so-guilty pleasure

On weekends, i would usually go to the mall to relax.
My guilty pleasures consist of three things - shopping,
eating & spa. Whenever i have the time or money, i would
often indulged myself. Lately i found pleasure in something
else and revived my passion for writing - my blog is a place
where i can release my inner creativity.

Then i found out about bloggerwave and got approved. It's
a great way to connect with other bloggers and make money on
the side. Aiming to be europe's biggest advertising media on
blogs, i think it's a great way to earn and make waves online.
Now i can have another pleasure without being guilty - blog,
earn & have fun. Now wouldn't that be a great way to earn extra?

Housewarming

It was my cousin's housewarming party in xavier estates last weekend. Food was plenty but i'm not sure if the caterers were even good. Nevertheless we had a blast. Thanks Swanenbergs !

Free Excess Baggage = )

I am not a light packer, i
know it's kinda quirky but
i am the kind who would pack
several shoes, tops, a few purses & accessories i know i won't even use on a 5-day trip. Never too happy paying for excess baggage, i always beg off & most of the time i get away with it, esp if it's a guy behind the counter. Girls are usually more masungit so i don't even attempt = )

On my latest flight, i tried begging off payment for my 25-kilo excess baggage. The guy behind the PAL counter in the centennial airport actually just smiled & again, i didn't pay a single cent for excess baggage.( I won't mention his name it might jeopardize his job...tee hee) But to those PAL ground crew, thank you again. Mabuhay po kayo !
